The Seoul Cultural Events app (the “App”) values the protection of your personal information and complies with applicable laws, including the Personal Information Protection Act and Google Play Developer policies.

1. Personal information we collect

The App can be used without registration and collects the following information.

• Firebase anonymous user UID (a non-identifying unique ID)
• Content you save in the App, such as bookmarks and settings
• Advertising ID, device information, IP address, and app usage information for advertising (collected via the Google AdMob SDK)

2. Purposes of collection

• To store and retrieve user-specific data (e.g., bookmarked events)
• To provide App features and maintain a personalized experience
• To deliver personalized ads and measure ad performance

3. Retention and use period

Collected information is retained until you delete the App or request otherwise. Data stored in Firestore may be deleted by the administrator when necessary. Information collected through Google AdMob, including advertising IDs, is governed by that advertising platform’s policies.

4. Sharing with third parties

The App may share certain data with third parties as follows.

• Google AdMob, for advertising services

Except where required by law, we do not disclose your information to third parties without authorization.

5. Safeguards

• Access to user data is controlled through Firebase Authentication and security rules
• Encrypted communication via HTTPS
